if I could only learn to like the wasa bread.

I hear ya there -- I think it tastes just like cardboard. Come to
think of it, how many carbs do you think are in the box? ;-)

nutrition is similar, though each piece is smaller( with less carbs),
but I just like the taste more...

Loretta if you try the one called "Light Rye" it is really delicious.
Tastes to me like a really good Jewish rye, but of course in a crunchy
cracker rather than a nice chewy bread.
I only like the Light Rye one myself. Have tried some of the others and
they taste like cardboard, or else the whole grains are too tough to chew.

Rye Crisp usually are salted so add salt I don't need and are less
flexible in use. I like to sometimes put sweet stuff on the Wasa or
Ryevita crackers like sweetener and cinnamon or some of my home made no
sugar added jam. this woul dnot go to well with a salty cacker. I use
them rather than eating bread adn can have 2 or three with an egg or
smoked salmon breakfast.
It really is a taste matter. I often get the ryevita becuse they are much
cheaper at one of the stores I frequent.

The light rye is one of the lower calorie and carb ones. The other is
fiber rye.

FYI, I've been using the Fiber Rye for a few years now, but last time my
husband looked for them at the market, the guy who was replenishing them on
the shelves said they're dropping the Fiber Rye.

"they" meaning the branch, the particular chain-grocery company, the
distributor, or the manufacturer?
