I doubt it too. Many of the harsh conversations here simply would not
happen in face-to-face talk.

:: I'll keep you posted.

Yes, please do.

Perhaps I missed that.

It is a message board group... with folks that are very diverse.

Many obviously have little internet experience, and likely have never
even heard of newsgroups. For the most part they seem like a good cross
section of your average diabetics.

My only "complaint"... is there is not really a place for random
diabetic conversation. Every week there is a topic and then you post
your goal or concern regarding what we learned in this weeks lesson. It
appears directly under your screen name in an area that lists everyone.
Then people can post comments under that.

If you want to talk to another member you can send a post, but that just
goes to them. There does not seem to be a place to start new topics.
So conversations don't seem to occur.

But it is just day 4... It's a long study.

They haven't set any numerical targets yets.

Right now it's more about setting some specific goals... and how to go
about achieving them.

People have chosen exercise, better glucose monitoring, ending night
time snacking... that sort of thing.

I think we will discuss numbers down the road.
