Doesn't sound familiar but I'll keep an eye out for it.

We have re-runs coming out the wazoo, now there are so many digital
channels to fill and only a limited amount of money to waste on new
programmes.

I can't say that I know much Australian TV. Except for Neighbours of
course, which I had to watch when I was married. Well you do don't
you? At least then it had Kylie in it.

Australian films though, that's another story altogether, seen some
very excellent ones over the years.

I think you'd love it; you may even recognise some people
you know.

More about it:

and:

Apparently the UK remake "Keeping Mum" was a dud and nothing
like the original.
DVDs here (no, I don't get a commission:-)

Allow me to recommend One Foot In The Grave, and Waiting For God

I've always been a fan of Victor Meldrew - now there IS
someone I recognise (usually when I'm shaving). That was one
of the DVDs we took on the trip with us, to watch when there
was only Polish on the TV.

The final episode was actually quite a shock.

I haven't seen Waiting for God.
