Default Real Lantus activity curves?

Googling "lantus curve" turns up some interesting stuff, including

http://members.tripod.com/diabetics_...vity_curve.htm

which looks only vaguely like the curve that comes inside the Lantus
box. The Lantus box curve shows that it kicks in after a few hours, is
perfectly flat through 24 hours, and then there's no information. The
"real" curve at the URL above shows that it's twice as active at 12
hours as it is at 6 hours or 18 hours.

This may explain why I do so much better with two shots of Lantus a
day (12 hours apart) than on a single one a day (which, in my
experience, did not work well at all.)

Of course maybe I still need to think about a pump.

Tim.
