Default It is religous issue

The time when a group of cells becomes a person is a religious issue.

The cost and quiality of health care is a medical issue that is
pertinent to diabetes and all other chronic illness.

Todau there is no reason for a mature person to become preganent

So this issue does not belong here especially since
it is a Holy mess.

The same laws that will allow certain views to be shoved down the
throoat of others could be used to ban a religion.
Be careful that we do not build our own jail.

You know there is some chance that mandantory abortion may come about
when the population pressures becomes an issue.

Think before you demand others conform to your standard.

It could be said that anytime a girl is fertile and
does not get preganent she is kill a potentail "human"

I do NOT take a stand but I am pointing out the
volatible nature of this issue and a reason
it is wrong to bring it here.

Othe other hand, send me title to your property
and I wil bless it. And out of the blue you will
get rich :-)

Religion does not belong here.

There also is no reason for a *mature* person to impregnate someone.

It could be said that anytime a male masturbates, he is killing a
potential human too, but only an idiot would say something like that.

Yabbut you started a thread about something that is "wrong to bring
here", so it goes where it goes. Your above statements do show that
you have taken a stand by assessing the blame for pregnancy to women.
BTW, I have a book to sell you about the Birds and the Bees, and how
people become pregnant, you sexist little thing, you. ;-)

Not to mention the fact that the only method of birth control that's
100% reliable is abstinence.

Guess I had better take a stand. There is an excellent excuse for
strict sex behavior. It is the best way rto pass on several
diseases that you can fnd

Durng my life I have seen so many that were born in the wrong
circumstances. It a close call, but maybe t they would have been
better, if they had never been born. Guess they make good slaves or
cannon fodder.

I had two children and their developent and education was the highest
priority.

Mona had two children and she sent both through college even
though her husband died very early.

But I have seen so many that were relewgated to an inferior situation
before they wer born.

I bet I knew about the bird and bees at an earlier age than you.
I grew up in a rough enviroment. Thst had little effect on
tsking unnecessary risk in a moment where the instincts dominated us.

Religious rules made long ago in great ignorance should be
examined carefully. Careful living is a marker of itewlligence.

Abortion is a legal issue to me, not a religious one My faith believes
that life begins when a child is born I have no ethical or religous
beliefs that contradict a womens right to choose. It is the law of the
land

I dont want those religious zealots getting into our laws.

Loretta, this subject reminds me of the old adage.

Keep them bare footed and pregnant. Early in my
life it might have been--Keep them bent over
the wash board. electricity was not common in
rural America.

I went to school with so many orphans where their
mother died in child birth. In so many cases they had
a stepmother shortly.

Being exposed to many segment of our society
alters my view a lot. Easy answers are usually
defective.
I try to look at things from many angles. So
I insult all.

Are you joking? The best answer is a good, truthful, non judgmental
sex education.

That is not for you nor I to say - EVER.

And I had seven. I did the best at that I could considering being
married to a woman that put me down at every turn and challenged every
standard I tried to set for the kids. The details of that would
probably curl you hair.

Another ridiculous statement on your part.

How far down that road do you really want to go? Where I live teens
were not allowed to buy condoms or diaphragms and there weren't any
other artificial means of birth control or disease protection.

Please explain what you mean by "Careful living is a marker of
intelligence." To me it just sounds like one more chance for you to
put _your_ judgments on others.

if you are going to use that kind of demented logic, every time a male
has wet dream they are guilty of the same crime. In fact spilling
one's seed on the ground is specifically mentioned. But not getting
pregnant every time a woman is ovulating is NOT mentioned in religious
texts. So your interpretation is not only wrong, but guess which
gender is gonna get punished.

Amen brother. Those pushing abstinence only as an agenda are generally
the same people who want mind control over others. You know, like far

Exactly. What do you do about panspermia ?

Some female dominated societies do not even recognise the primeval
uncontrollable urge to procreate .. a basic biological necessity that
the male of the species can do nothing about ...

Personally, I shun with the greatest of vehemence, such societies ...

wait a minute, are we talking about the same people? for some reason I
just the image of religious clergy on their knees asking for a tissue
to wipe their eyes after they broke their own rules AGAIN.

And thus, starts the cycle of frustration, all over again, culminating
in milky eyeballs, followed by more rule-breaking.... and the need for
more tissues.

Wouldn't a cold shower have worked as well for you as the orange
juice running down your leg?

Americans killed in the occupation of Iraq as of July 29, 2007 is 3,651.
United Kingdom = 163 Other = 129.

How many more Americans must die to satisfy Bush's ego?
Let us all pray for Bush - God knows he needs it!

As of July 30, 2007 it has been 1552 days since Bush
while standing in front of the banner which was sent
to the ship by the White House saying MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
declared,"In the Battle of Iraq, the United States and our
allies have prevailed." IOW MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Isn't Bush's "surge" of troops working well?
Pay attention to the frequency of American deaths since it began.

Reallyy not intended. Before washng machne washday was a big deal

It is hard to expain to so many spoied brats today the burden of
living in the past. Rights were so far down the list.

We did not vhave many modern washers until the late 40's.

And I will repeat-- so many women died in child birth.
and in the false modesty that delayed examnation of
a problem until it was too late.

These were the real issues as I witnessed them.

Not if someone can arrange a sex psarty tonight.

By the way, I know of saeveral peple that had a horrible
later life because they were unaware of the disease
problem.

When I was very young, an old man warned me about
the walking sewers that were around.

Let's see how this sells.
