It seems that Nutra Sweet, the FDA and their counterparts in Canada,
Great Briton and Australia seem to be among the few who think so. There
is quite a controversy over these negative reports in the academic
sector. As far as the health factors - I'm seeing that Coke, Sunkist
and
Nestle, to name a few, use it in their products wherever it's legal as
a sweetner. See: www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/stevia.html

Well, I removed, and reposted this because, obviously, I should have
searched the group before I asked about it. I see, from my belated
search, there are many posts and warnings about the use of stevia but
very little "discussion." Maybe I should search again before I open my
mouth.... a second time...lol

I use it here in Australia, the World Health Organisation regards stevia as safe. http://whqlibdoc.who.int/publication...660546_eng.pdf

I like this I don;t find your posts offensive though.
Can I use it too? The method I've been using is to just not
read replies I know are probably unpleasant or not, ahem,
well thought out.
Then again, I also like this approach:
"Spanglechild, you write with great passion and feeling,
but it is better directed in a more worthwhile pursuit to
do good for others. Blasting your hysteria in here is a
waste. However, if you *do* feel compelled to respond to
any of my posts, now or in the future, please feel free to do
so in email to spare my good neighbors from your disturbing the
peace. My email address above goes to a different computer, so you
would probably be more likely to catch me at bhil...@attbi.com,
since this is the machine with that address. Also, you can say
anything you want and I promise even to let you have the last
word. It really works for my 6-yr-old and calms her down quite
a bit, so I will give you the same opportunity to vent somewhere
so you may be able to relax a little. love, kayper"
I found that in hte google archives somewhere.
Hmm.....hmm.....it's a poser, which to use. |

I find that it makes me feel ill. Maybe eventually I can use it.

Wow, what were you searching for?
At any rate, in my experience anything that refers to Sp*angle in any form
including her initials has a good chance of drawing unwanted attention.
BTW, haven't seen you posting in a bit. How are you doing since we last
heard? Breathing? BG? Staying out of hospital?

Ah well, if I use that, I would amend it and take out names, to make
it more generally applicable to anyone it may concern. I don;t even
remember where I found it., or what I was searching for.
I could do it like this:
Disclaimer:
To whom it may concern: If you find a posting or message from me
offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive, please ignore it. If you
feel the need to comment, consider that it is better directed in a
more worthwhile pursuit to do good for others. Blasting your hysteria
in here is a waste. However, if you *do* feel compelled to respond
to any of my posts, now or in the future, please feel free to do
so in email to spare my good neighbors from your disturbing the
peace. My email address is: dumbfishie99@yahoo.com.
Also, you can say anything you want and I promise even to let you
have the last word. It really works for my 6-yr-old and calms her
down quite a bit, so I will give you the same opportunity to vent
somewhere so you may be able to relax a little. love, dumbfishie

I'm still at the lemon juice / cream of broccoli level. I haven;t
tried anything else yet - still sticking to strict low carb.
I work part time, in 5 to 7 day chunks at a time, and
when I;m working a convention I don't get exercise because
I work graveyard. So I still have work to do lose more weight,
but at least I'm getting in slightly better shape.
So yes I'm staying out of the hosptial . I'm trying to deal with
other small things right now, like new eyeglasses and skin
problems. |

Learn how to read asshole
The WHO does NOT say it is safe, they report on a few tiny tests which
didn't find specific problems. The tests are on extremely small samples
and are not worth anything.
It is illegal in most of the world, and is not considered safe by the EU.
It is considered safe in Japan in the extremely small quantities it is
used in. It is only;y used to sweeten pickles. Even then, it is
outlawed in much of the Orient | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
