Hey guys, just back from a few days of R&R. Flew to Las Vegas.
For those who don't know, beyond the gambling and entertainment, its a
great place to get a lot of walking in. First day out I had a blister
on each foot. Poor choice of shoes for a little walking. Next day we
walked about 11 miles during the course of the day and the blisters
became pretty painful.
I've never had a problem with my feet but blisters are a great way to
get a problem started. I took all the precautions I could to mimimize
the damage and it appears that no secondary issues are at play.
Then there's the food! Think I did pretty well in that regard also.
The hotel we stayed at had several sugar free (not low carb) desserts
available plus sufficient grilled, baked, steamed foods to choose from
at the buffet. I can't claim I didn't stray a bit but all in all
stayed fairly close to my eating plan.
Didn't win any big money, but did win 2 tickets to "Stomp Out Loud".
Seats were pretty good and the show was entertaining and fit for all
ages.
Back to work in the morning, oh boy!!
