Default wasnt the sars...or was it...

Heh went to docs this morn with whatever this chest congestion and dry cough
is...not to be gross but least with most chest problem u get the
satisfaction of coughing stuff up and out this like im breathing
pepper..make me cough and feel bad but nothing is there to cough out.

Anyhoo they put me on a nebuliser cause i was breathing in but not out which
is odd..and i felt great..so they gave me some antibiotics and sent me on
the way.
Took me off lisiniprol cause it can agrivate coughs and we shall see if this
clears up.

Sadly the effect of the inhaler wore off and im back to feeling as tho im
breathing underwater...sigh.

Would suggest you inform your doctor ASAP.

It is likely you need to be using an inhaler or nebulizer at home
until your symptoms resolve.

Hi Krom,
I was on Accupril then Lisinopril and coughing incessantly too for a year. I
thought I would never stop. Well dear friend, I have stopped coughing and
only do on occasion now and I can take a deep breath for the first time in I
could not tell you how long. Hang in there cause there is great things in
the horizon.

I could not breath out either without coughing and trying to get a sentence
out without coughing was useless. It embarrassed me if on the phone with
anyone.

I too am on a nebulizer and have been for my Chronic Bronchitis but it
didn't and doesn't really help the cough. Getting off the Lisinopril help
greatly.

I wish you success because I know how aggravating it can be coughing like
that when there is nothing to cough up or for other than not being able to
exhale.

It took me about two weeks being off the Lisinopril before I noticed a
change and Oh how happy I was LOL.
