Some people can complain about anything.

Charlie Rose touted this coming program.

It is evident that the US Healthcare system stinks.

This presentation is supposed to cover that side of the picture.

Sane people are fed up with what we have and changes are coming.

I was just stuck with a $1000 bill that was nothing but padding the
bill for insurance. Insurance refused to pay so I am stuck with a
ripooff.

The only problem is I am up a 3 AM with problems that cannot be
solved. A bunch of bull.

Sorry but I can not spoon feed you with exact time and station.

Do you have any other complaints?

Watch some of the unbased programs and see what we are facing
unless you are riding professional courtesy.

One doc threatens to quit. Good. We do not need that type.

Chuck, People with a dedicated mission are known to use any means they
can to shut people up when people disagree with them. The truth does
not change. Greedy people are their own worst enemies the long run.

Computer tamper mg is a common thing.

A few just want these groups to serve the purpose they were set up
to achieve. It is obvious that will never happen.

When I was a small child a fellow live next door. He was having great
problems He was gassed in WW1. Set my thinking. But war will be
with us until we self destruct. I would like to survive long enough
to comment "See what you now have, dummy".

WAR are inherent in our genetics. Who wins in the end?

We are a greedy bunch. We will get our reward.

Chuck, I do admired your intent. In the end, I just say to hell with
it.

This started out a reminder of a TV show on US health care.

It stinks.

And this started out as a request for the name of the program. Seems
like a reasonable request to me, but if you don't know, a simple "I
don't know Chuck" would work.

Tues 15- broadcast from Spokane, Washington: 10:00pm Frontline "Sick
Around the World" "Frontline examines the health-care systems of France,
Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Taiwan to see what might help us reform
the beleaguered U.S. System."
This sounds like a different program than is being discussed on this
group at present.
KSPS Spokane covers most of Northwest Washington, Montana, Idaho etc. as
well as British Columbia and Alberta in Canada.
We get it by cable in Alberta and also subscribe.

Yeah, the only way you can 'check your local listings' is if you know the name
of the show.

Thank you! I get it on one PBS channel tonight & one PBS channel next Sunday
night. To get it tonight, I have to set it up to 'tape' on my Pioneer DVD/R/W,
etc. since my TiVo is taping NBC at that exact hour. Of course, I need to tape
two & only two things tonight & there's both on opposite each other!!

Thanks again, big help!! And, thanks, Guy, for bringing the subject up!

I stumbles on it lastnight on PS in NYC. Is will, probably be on WLIW in
a few days. this is the Long Island PBS that seems to work in concert
with NYC so you can catch some of the good shows later.

It was very interesting, comparing, England, Japan, Taiwan and Germany,
with discussion on how the systems work, how people like them, problems,
etc. All seemed to be giving better over all care to people than the US
at less cost, not only to the patients, but to the whole system. What I
found interesting was how many used private (non-governmental_ insurance
in conjucntion with government requirements and no profit allowed to the
companies, but competition for patients working by the companies being
able to pay higher salaries if they have more patients enrolled.

See if you can catch on a rerun or, perhaps on the local station's
website.
