Boy is it tough getting acclimated to the
insulin. Haven't been on for a bit
as some may have noticed. It would seem, much to my doctor's chagrin, that I
am TOO sensitive to the insulin...
One bright spot is I am FINALLY becoming acclimated to the "normal" BG
levels. BUT, along the way, I have hit in the 40's and 50's a few times, and
have Lynn so scared that if I just stumble she thinks I'm too low, and going
to go into insulin shock. The hypo's have induced my doc to lower or stop a
few meds completely. Anything that means I have to take less pills is a good
thing...
He totally stopped my
Amaryl, and Lopid since my total cholesterol was 79.
He also cut my
Cozaar in half because now that I have my BG numbers down I'm
not as hypertensive. BP was 82/50 and 90/62 so he kind of thought that was a
little low...lol
If I had known getting healthy was make me feel so crappy I'd have stayed
sick...<snicker>
