Default Xray of Insulin

Hi Everyone

I've posted here before on occasion and can't remember if this was
discussed. I will be traveling by plane in a few days and will have to be x
ray screened as we all know, but I've heard it's not recommended for me to
let all my insulin (Pens and Vials) go thru the x-ray machine but to have in
Manually screened. I'll only pass screening 2x's on my trip, but am I a
little too concerned to let it be x-rayed??? Could it deteriorate my
Insulin?? Thanks Group

Hi, Larry,
You can avoid the possibility of insulin deterioration by exercising
your right to have your medications inspected manually. In fact, I
think the TSA still requires that they be kept in a clear bag separate
from your carryon for inspection.
Happy trails!

There's no problem with X-raying insulin.

Tim.
