Default Annual Check In

I am really an old timer on ASD in several aspects.

I joined ASD in 1996, lost over eighty pounds over the next few years
and posted here daily. I have kept most of the weight off for eight
years. My weight has varied within a two pound range of change for the
past few years. I was not able to maintain my lowest weight which was
about 138 and have been hanging in the mid 140's. I looked gaunt in
the 130's, have lost height with age and my head was large in
proportion to the lower weight.

Here is my weight loss website.

http://www.angelfire.com/on4/diva_dog/

After I contracted Celiac Disease in 2000 I had a different type of
diet restrictions. You can see my comments and a photo taken two weeks
go (head and shoulders). Weight loss and maintenance has improved the
quality of my life immensely. It is so worth it. I will be seventy-
seven next month and exercise three times a week. I also do light
weight lifting and my program was designed by Krista Scott-Dixon the
legendary Mistress Krista who lives in my city.

I have articles and blogs at the links below

Hi Carol. I couldn't get the link to your website to work, but I'm
glad to know you're still maintaining well.

I still read here but I felt I'd said everything I had to say and was
starting to repeat myself, so don't post very often.

All the best to you for 2008.

Hi, Diva, Janice, and Iggy,

Just dropped by the group to see if I could garner some inspiration,
and it was nice to run into some familiar faces. Not much of the old
group left, though, which is too bad given how helpful you all were
when I was losing weight.

Diva, great job with keeping the weight off; I looked at your site and
you look great.

Happy New Year, all.

Yes, hello all! I gained some back over the past few months, but only
10 pounds, of which 6 pounds was water. I just finished shedding that.

Need to get back in the swing of things again, and have started back
with good habits, healthy eating.

I'm not reading the group a lot these days though. Too much spam or
other dreck to sort through. Still, I stop in here and there. It *IS*
nice to see old faces!

It's good to hear you're doing well, Diva.

Hi to everyone else. It's nice to see some familiar faces in the group
again.

I'm still out there on that bike and have been hanging in the high 130's
lately. I'm hoping to hit the lower 130's this year.

I just finished my first training session with Weight Watchers. I'm going
to become a receptionist/leader. I thought this would be the perfect
part-time job for me when I retire. Retirement is still a year away but I
thought I would do the training now.

Definitely enjoyed the website, but it would be nice to see a more
recent picture! You look so great!

I saw your post about getting below 140, just was too busy to be
posting right then. (my eBay season) Congrats!

I think it's an excellent idea. I didn't care for WW when I tried it,
and paying for meetings was just too much, but my mother liked it, she
got to goal and she became a leader for a while. She also maintained
her loss. I think she enjoyed being a leader! So good going!
