1. Oatmeal, protein powder and ground flax seed. I keep this in my office
and
have it each morning at work.
2. Poached eggs and a slice of whole wheat toast. This is my usual
Saturday
morning breakfast unless I'm attending a biking event then it's #1
3. Veggie omelet. We do a breakfast ride on Sunday mornings and the
waitress
just asks me if I want the usual<g> |

Eggwhite pie (like an omelette, but I don't fold it) or a frittata, I put
whatever vegetables I have on hand in it.. (about 1 pts, depending on what
you put in it)
Cut up fruits with 1/2 cup of fat free vanilla yogurt over it and "go lean
crunch" cereal sprinkled over it (about 1/4 cup) (about 3 pts)
WW apple oatmeal, with about 2/3 cup of unsweetened apple sauce and a cut up
banana (about 4 pts)
I always have 2.5 cup of coffee mixed with a WW smoothie with any breakfast
at home. |

Poached egg, fresh fruit (fast when in a hurry)
Dry cereal with soy/rice/almond milk and fresh fruit.
Obviously fresh fruit a must for me.

I only have one. Two servings of oatmeal, with a scoop of protein
powder, served with no fat yogurt. I often add a topping of fruit,
raisins, nuts, or other things to the oatmeal. I often wash it down
with tea, either black or green. This meal runs about 500-600 calories,
perhaps a little high for a breakfast, but I do lift four days a week
in the mornings, so the extra protein is put to good use. Perhaps I
should reduce the amount of oatmeal, since my weight loss is slowing
down and I need to reduce the number of calories I take in.
By the way, thank you for posting all these questions. They've helped

non-diet problems (grieving, throwing up, etc) in front of us.

| | | Re: breakfast On a weekday after a run, usually a piece of fruit and glass of skim
milk. Once I get to work, oatmeal.
On the weekend, I'll have toast with peanut butter or something similar
before my run and afterwards have cheese, yogurt and another piece of
fruit, or something similar like that. I made lowfat pumpkin muffins
yesterday, so I had one of those before my run and afterwards I had
another.
It was my long run this morning (5 miles) and I stopped and got some
date candies on my way home at the Farmers' Market. I had a couple
walking home. They were delicious!!! |

I'm glad that you didn't have cholesterol problems, Matty. :-)

1/2 grapefruit and a boiled egg with 1/2 teaspoon of butter
scrambled egg with 1/2 oz old cheddar cheese and 4 oz reduced sugar
cranberry juice
Treat breakfast: French toast made with 2 slices reduced carb/reduced
calorie bread, 1 egg, and a splash of milk. This is topped with about
a teaspoon of butter and some ED Smith low-cal pancake syrup. Served
with 4 oz of the diet cranberry juice. I may have one slice of bacon
with this.
I always have 3 cups of coffee with a total of about 2 oz half&half.
I'm never particularly hungry in the morning, so one egg and one small
fruit serving is plenty for me. |

My breakfast is similar, and I too only have one. A
serving of oatmeal with ground flaxseed and wheat germ. I
add about 1/2 cup of 1% milk (in a cup of unflavored
cappucinno) and I 'm good to go.

I add my thanks too, for all of the reasons mentioned by
