Default Diet Sodas increase appetite, causes memory loss

Besides the toxins and artificial substances found in diet sugar
substitutes such as Splenda, Nutrasweet, and saccharin, diet sodas and
drinks will make you crave for more food and drink and ultimately make
you fatter had you drank regular soda. It is the truth, go Google up
Aspartame, what diet sugars are made of. Also aspartame causes memory
    loss.

On the other hand, sugar is implicated in diabetes, hyperactivity,
obesity, etc. Perhaps the solution is to not overdo any of it. I do
drink Diet Coke and use Splenda as well. I certainly have no
neurological problems or memory loss....on the other hand, if I did, I
guess I wouldn't know about it. LOL dkw

Oh, I just KNOW that everything I google is the god's honest truth. I drink
diet soda at least once a day, and I don't have cravings. I happen to like
    the toxins in diet soda.

Exactly. Coffee is loaded with all kinds of carcinogens, too, but most
people seem to drink it and get by just fine. I really think the
connection between these problems with artificial sweetners is
questionable. I have enough faith in our govt. that if the science were
convincing, they would take them off the market or put a strict warning
on the packages. Everything I read says they are safe in moderate
    amounts.

I too, drink diet pop, but a lot more than you. I consume a lot of
Splenda and Nutrasweet...probably the equivalent of about 60 packets a
day in various products and I am quite thin and able to control my
weight and appetite just fine. Some people just seem to blow any
connections way out of proportion. dkw
