Went to my usual hip-hop class yesterday morning, then did a little
clothes shopping (2 going-out-to-dinner dresses, 1 set of workout
clothes, 2 pairs of khaki pants for trail work -- reflects my
retirement lifestyle :-) ). In the evening we went to a dinner at the
winery. I didn't eat as much as I might have because I wasn't too
crazy about a couple of the items, so calories for the week averaged
out fine.
Food:
* 8:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g grate parmesan
* 11:45 (gym, after hip-hop class): 1 bite of an energy bar -- free
sample from an EAS display table at the gym
* 12:00 (driving to store): energy bar -- one of mine that I'd brought
with me
* 2:00 (home): 4 oz. ground turkey breast burger on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slice, & catsup
* 6:00 (wine dinner): 12 oz. wine; 1 water cracker w/ 1/2 oz. Swiss
cheese; cheese soup (not thick, though -- clearly stock-based -- with
a garnish of pancetta & a couple of shell macaronis) -- only ate a
little of this, though it was yummy, as it had red pepper bits in it
and I'm allergic to them; salad w/ 1/4 oz. gorgonzola, 1/4 oz.
prosciutto, greens, & 2 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette; 1 oz. braised short
ribs (I just picked a little of the lean meat out and gave the rest to
DH, as these are too fatty for my taste); 1/2 cup mashed potatoes; 1
oz. green beans; 1 serving chocolate mousse
Totals: 1895 calories (208 from alcohol), 77g fat (36%), 115g carbs
(24%), 129g protein (27%)
Averages for the week: 1628 calories, 30% fat, 31% carbs, 28% protein
Exercise:
* 10:30 -- 1 hour hip-hop cardio class
