Default Food & Exercise -- 1/16/2007

Went for a run this morning, worked at the conservancy (computer stuff
today), then stopped by the winery for a visit.

Food:

* 8:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g grated parmesan
* 11:00 (home): energy bar
* 12:45 (conservancy -- brought with me): 1 oz. peanuts
* 2:30 (conservancy -- brought with me): 1 cup light peach yogurt
* 4:30 (winery): 9 oz. wine
* 7:45 (home): 4 oz. ground turkey breast burger on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup;
1/4 oz. dark chocolate (just finishing off the box)
* 11:00 (home -- planned): 250g f/f Greek yogurt

Totals: 1484 calories (173 from alcohol), 38g fat (23%), 110g carbs
(30%), 134g protein (36%)

Exercise:

* 10:00 -- 3 mile run

I hope you didn't drive yourself home. :-) With that little food in
my stomach, I'd have been a touch giddy on 9 oz of wine.

It was indeed a little less than I like to eat before drinking, but
the drive is pretty simple -- 5 miles on country back roads with
virtually no traffic -- I may have passed one other car on the way. (I
should have taken more food with me to the conservancy, but I wasn't
feeling very hungry when getting my lunch together.)

Also, I drank the wine over about 2 hours, which does make a
difference. I'm good friends with people who work there, so I hang
out and chat with them. (Sometimes I'll eat something there, but I
wasn't feeling like anything they have available.)
