Yesterday I went to the gym in the morning as usual, followed by a
quick grocery store stop. In the evening we went out to a planned
splurge meal -- a wine dinner at a country inn that was featuring my
friend's wines.
Food:
* 8:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat hamburger bun w/
3 slices melted f/f cheese & 10g grated parmesan
* 10:45 (gym, between lifting & yoga): energy bar
* 1:45 (home): 4 oz. ground chicken breast burger on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slice, & catsup; 1
mini chocolate truffle
* 6:00 -- 11:00 (wine dinner): 15 oz. wine; canapes (2 potstickers; 2
things w/ a little shrimp and spicy cream cheese on a cracker);
"lobster tempura with strawberry salsa" (about 3 oz. of the tempura --
didn't eat the salsa, as it had peppers in it); "seared sea scallops
with mango coconut milk" (about 2 oz. scallops); "tower of beef
medallions with a cheese medley and asian chili glaze" (3 small beef
medallions, each topped with a little cheese of 3 different sort --
ate about half of this dish); "caramel flan" (sweeter and more
caramel-y than other flans I've had)
Totals: 2459 calories (289 from alcohol), 80g fat (29%), 193g carbs
(31%), 163g protein (27%)
Exercise:
* 10:00 -- Lifting: forward and reverse lunges w/ barbell; plie squats
w/ barbell; stiff-legged deadlifts; side stepping w/ elastic band
around ankles; leg extensions; leg curls; calf extensions; hip
abductor; hip adductor
* 11:00 -- 75 minute yoga class -- emphasis on back
