Default Food & Exercise -- 10/18/2006

Another day of driving -- from Elyria, OH to Rockford, IL -- about 400
miles. It was pretty smooth sailing until we went through Chicago --
messy old roads and slow traffic even at 2:00 in the afternoon. We'll
find an alternate route on the way back, I think. Like yesterday, I
ate indulgently and didn't exercise at all. (I don't feel like it
after driving all day -- I do all the driving, by choice. I expect to
get some exercise once we're in Minneapolis, though; Tom and I will
work out together sometime, I'm sure.)

Food:

* 7:45 (hotel breakfast bar): 1 egg worth of Egg Beaters scrambled eggs
w/ 1/2 oz. ham; 1 small pre-made waffle w/ 3/4 oz. peanut butter
* 10:00 (driving, brought with us): hard-boiled egg
* throughout the day (driving): 6 caramels
* 12:00 (Amish restaurant): 1 cup tossed salad w/ 1 tbs creamy
poppyseed dressing; chicken dinner (1 fried chicken drumstick and 1
thigh, both minus skin; 1/2 cup mashed potatoes; 1 cup stuffing; gravy
-- ate less than half of the food served); 1 piece of custard pie,
minus most of the crust
* 4:00 (hotel desk freebie): 1 average-sized chocolate chip cookie
* 6:00 (Culver's -- midwestern chain restaurant): 2 pieces fried cod
(fish & chips style); a couple of French fries; 1 scoop of vanilla
frozen custard w/ 2 tbs caramel sauce & 3/4 oz. cashew nuts

Totals: 1968 calories, 78g fat (36%), 255g carbs (52%), 68g protein
(14%) {Pretty terrible ratios!}
