Went to the gym with Tom in the morning to do some cardio. Then we all
went out for a late breakfast/lunch. In the evening we had dinner at a
really nice seafood restaurant (Oceanaire) in downtown Minneapolis,
then came back to the house and had some wine with friends who came
over. I ate far too much yesterday -- still feeling bloated. I think
it's time I cut back a tad on the vacation eating -- pants are feeling
snug :-).
Food:
* 7:00 (Tom's house): 1 1/2 cups All Bran w/ Yogurt Bites; 2/3 cup skim
milk
* 10:30 (Tom's house): hard-boiled egg
* 12:30 (restaurant): 2 fried eggs; waffle w/ 2 pats butter & 2 tbsp
syrup; 12 oz. orange juice
* 6:00 (restaurant): 1 piece bread w/ 1 pat butter; large salad w/
frisee greens, sliced apple, a couple of toasted pecans, & bacon
vinaigrette; 5 oz. grilled salmon; about 3/4 cup baked sweet potato w/
butter & brown sugar; a couple of bites of mashed potato & tempura
broccoli (communal veggies); large spoonfuls (about 3/4 normal serving
each) of bread putting and chocolate caramel cake (very large communal
desserts -- we didn't manage to finish two of them among the four of
us); 6 oz. wine
* 9:00 (Tom's house): 4 oz. wine
Totals: 2587 calories (195 from alcohol), 86g fat (30%), 341g carbs
(53%), 90g protein (14%)
Averages for the week: 1851 calories, 29% fat, 46% carbs, 24% protein
(too much for weight maintenance, but not as bad as it would have been
had I not eaten lightly for the couple of days before we left home)
