It was a beautiful day here in Virginia, so rather than run in the
morning I went and climbed my local mountain. In the evening I went
to the monthly meeting of my wine group. Tonight I'm getting ready to
head out tomorrow to drive to my mom's in North Carolina.
Food:
* 8:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese & 10g grated grana padano

* 2:00 (driving home): energy bar
* 3:30 (home): apple
* 4:30 (home): 2 fiber rye crackers
* 6:30 -- 9:00 (wine group meeting): 9 oz. wine; 4 oz. assorted
cheeses; 8 assorted crackers; 2 oz. of a sort of non-sweet cheesecake
Totals: 1767 calories, 68g fat (35%), 142g carbs (32%), 100g protein
(23%) {A bit more than my goal, but I burned quite a few calories on
the hike.}
Exercise:
6 3/4 mile hike, up a 1000 ft. mountain and back down by a longer
route -- alternately jogging and walking throughout -- jogged a bit
over half the distance
