Yesterday we left for a vacation in the Finger Lakes area of New
York. We started the day with pet arrangments -- pet sitter at home
and taking our diabetic kitty to board at the vets. Then we drove up
to PA to my Mother-in-Law's home, where we went out to dinner and
spent the night. (She doesn't have internet access, so I didn't post
yesterday. We're now at our B&B up in Penn Yan, NY.)
Food:
* 7:15 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter, dates, & flax seed
* 10:15 (home): 1 pack Sun Chips
* 1:00 (restaurant on the way): salad w/ seared Ahi tuna, greens,
tomato, mango, ginger, & sesame vinaigrette; 1 glass wine (Oregon
State Chardonnay)
* 6:30 (restaurant in PA): 1 small piece of raisin nut bread; half
order of mushroom risotto; grilled wild salmon (~5 oz) w/ pesto; red
cabbage; oven-roasted potatoes (~2 oz. of each veggie); small but rich
chocolate pudding; 2 glasses wine (1 Virginia white blend; 1
Australian Grenache)
Exercise: None (I am taking an intentional rest week.)
