Default Food & Exercise -- 4/22/2007 (yesterday)

Last night was the last of our series of fancy dinners out -- an
Italian wine dinner. During the day I just did housework and stuff,
getting ready for a week of doing an audit in the local office (where
I used to work until I retired last summer).

Food:

* 7:45 (home): instant oatmeal w/ peanut butter & flax seed
* 12:45 (home): poached eggs on toast w/ f/f cheese & grated French
hard cheese
* 5:30 -- 9:30 (wine dinner): 1/3 glass each of 7 different wines; a
couple of small pieces of bread w/ butter; Candied Walnut, Apple and
Goat Cheese filled Beet Ravioli with Panzanella Salad; Grilled
Asparagus with Crispy Rock Shrimp finished with a Proscuitto and
Provolone Stuffed Pepper Sauce; Almond Encrusted Rockfish on a Shaved
Fennel and Orange Salad garnished with a Chili, Onion and Orange
Marmalade; Marinated Pan Seared Squab on Grilled Bitter Greens
drizzled with a Pancetta and Toasted Pine Nut Vinaigrette; Herb Rubbed
Grilled Loin of Lamb accompanied by a Local Lamb Sausage with hints of
Apple and Rosemary on a warm Potato Salad with a Lemon and Mustard
Sauce; Tallagio Toast; Buttermilk Pannacotta with Honey, Citrus and
Vanilla Served with a Lavender Scented Dark Chocolate Ice Cream with
Goat Cheese and Raisins {I should note that all of these courses were
very small. It was certainly more food than any one person needs, but
not as much as it sounds like.}

Exercise: none

Back to normal today :-).

Hi Ali, This is your best meal so far. Next time try not to fry the
pasta. I wonder where you live.

Well, no more of that sort of dinner for at least a few days! Today
I'm back to my usual oatmeal & turkey burgers & stuff.
