Usual Friday morning of gym visit followed by grocery store stop. In
the evening DH and I went to an event at the German Embassy sponsored
by the German Wine Society -- the annual Spargelfest dinner. Spargel
is the German word for asparagus, and it's traditional in Germany to
celebrate the asparagus season -- particularly white asparagus -- with
festivals.
