Default Food & Exercise -- 6/26/2007

Had an excellent day at the conference -- and a planned diet splurge
day, after a week of very moderate eating. My presentation/interview
session went extremely well, I think. I got really a lot of
compliments afterward. And they gave me a great goodie bag with some
$600 work of Life Time merchandise and gift card. Other than that, I
attended a couple of the conference general sessions -- the talk by
Dick Hoyt (the guy who runs marathons pushing his son in a wheelchair)
and one on customer service. There were also a couple of working
group sessions for the Life Time employees, which I skipped. This
evening I went out to a nice seafood restaurant with Tom, my ex-
trainer, and his wife.

Food:

* 7:45 (conference breakfast buffet): cheerios w/ milk & Splenda;
lowfat blueberry yogurt; some fresh fruit
* 10:15 (morning break): a little trail mix of nuts, raisins, & seeds;
piece of date walnut bread; small granola bar; sample bites of a
couple of new nutritional products
* 12:15 (conference lunch buffet): green salad w/ raspberry
vinaigrette; small piece salmon; asparagus; carrots; flourless
chocolate cake
* 2:00 (hotel lounge, with a friend): 1 glass wine
* 3:15 (afternoon break): 3 small crackers w/ a little cheese; couple
of cashew nuts
* 7:15 (restaurant): spinach salad w/ hot bacon dressing; broiled
salmon; potatoes au gratin; chocolate cake w/ ice cream; 2 glasses
wine

Exercise: None

Glad to hear the conference went well.

I would love to meet Dick Hoyt. This man is an inspiration to many,
especially parents with handicapped children.
