Did my usual gym stuff in the morning, then made a grocery store
stop. In the evening DH and I went to a wine dinner (featuring wines
from Silverado Vineyard) at a Morton's Steakhouse restaurant.
Definite splurge dinner -- and will have a fancier one tonight.
Food:
* 7:30 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter, flax seed, & dates
* 10:45 (gym, between lifting & yoga): 1 pack Sun Chips
* 2:00 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat bun w/ 3 slices f/f
cheese, dill pickle, & catsup; 1 Medjool date
* 6:30 -- 9:30 (wine dinner): ~4 glasses wine; appetizers: 3 miniature
crab cakes, 2 small crackers w/ smoked salmon, 2 small pieces
bruschetta; half a piece of bread w/ a little butter; salad w/ blue
cheese dressing; 1 lamb chop w/ sauteed mushrooms; 2 grilled shrimp; a
couple of bites of filet mignon (brought all the rest home for another
day); half a twice-baked potato (brought the rest home; DH will eat
it); ~1 oz. brie; a few grapes
Exercise:
* 10:00: Lifting: weighted step-ups; machine (Hammer Strength -- plate
weighted) deadlifts; leg extensions; leg curls; calf extensions; hip
adductor; hip abductor
* 11:00: 75-minute yoga class
* 12:30: swimming: 325 meters
