    Default HCG Injections

I was wondering if anyone else had tried the HCG injections for weight
    loss/control and gotten good results.
Last year I obtained some HCG and used it for upgrading my testicular
output. (It worked great, thank you) and had about 3 cc's left over.
I had heard about using it for weight loss and had heard about what's
his name Trudeau's book about it. Anyhow, I had enought to last about
a month so I started injecting myself according to the schedule I had
found on the internet since it made sense from my previous usages.

Now, I'm just overweight, not grossly so. I weighted about 196 lbs
when I started. After one month of the shots I was down over 20 lbs.
I have MS and spinal problems and a recent meniscus tear; so exercise
is really hard for me although I retain some residual conditioning
from when I used to be a runner.

A couple months after my shots and weight loss I got ahold of the
Trudeau book and except for the part about the shots, I think it's a
bunch of hogwash. You don't need to follow all his criteria to lose
    the weight.

The neat thing about it was that I didn't have any desire to overeat.
My appetite just seemed to control itself. When given large portions
of a meal I was just unable to eat too much.

The HCG prescription inserts loudly dis-claims that HCG is of any
value for weight control. Trudeau says that's a FDC and weight
industry collaberation and he may be right. I'm in the process of
getting another vial of HCG right now and since I don't need to raise
my testosterone levels any more, it's all going for 2 or 3 cycles of
    HCG shots.
If I can get down to about 140 or 150 lbs I will be really happy.

Since I can't afford the doctors, I have to do all this on my own.

I've heard that hCG increases testosterone, which is a fat burner
hormone. Should work to drop weight although the docs think not. What
you need to watch out for is prolonged use can cause your system to stop
or decrease its production of testosterone because it no longer sees the
need to produce it with you pumping it in. So when you run out, you
could get shrunken testes. Try weight lifting instead if you can, to
encourage hypothalamus and the pituitary to produce testosterone. That
way you get your exercise too. Sticking oneself with a needle of
anything turns me off, so I am bias. The stuff will increase your sperm
count while you are taking it - as you know, but its not meant for
prolonged use. Nope, haven't tried it - haven't tried cocaine either and
    thats a great weight reducer.

Thanks for your comments. Actually, it's the prolonged use of
testosterone injections or patchs which will cause testicle
shrinkage. (which it did do to me).
However, the HCG should not be used to excess as it can cause other
    problems.
I was fairly well aware of the problems and actually started to
experience one of them, namely (I forget the medical name
something ...mastia) i.e., "bitch tits". This was caused by too much
HCG forcing my system into aromatization.
You can also burn out your testicles Sertoli cells, thus forcing you
to use the hormone replacements for the rest of your life. This is
actually a "non-concern" because if I would have followed medical
"wisdom", that would be what I would be doing anyway.
I now take OTC Tamoxifen to control excess estradiol. My blood tests
now seem to show consistant real high testosterone levels (1057 in
morning - 850 afternoons) and I feel so much better. I think that
high levels of estrogen(s) are causing a lot of peoples overweight
problems. Then the overweight-ness is causing more estrogen
    production. "Cruel circle"

Thats interesting stuff. I had to look up aromatization - I see it means
the conversion of excess testosterone to estrogen. Can't really see how
that would hurt you much - bring out the feminine side a bit and
encourage mammary growth as you say. Yes, I have read about post partum
weight gain caused by excess estrogen. Not usually a big problem in
males. What does the Tamoxifen do? OK, I looked that up too. It
counteracts the estrogen - side effects - possible impotence. So the hcg
ups the testosterone a fat burner and the excess converts to estrogen
which is a fat storer and the Tamoxifen counters the estrogen - damn,
are you sure you should be manipulating all that?

Since you are body aware and of inquiring mind, let me ask you:
Have you any theories about your MS?

I've heard the rebuttals the dentists give, denying that amalgam
fillings and the heavy metals they contain cause autoimmune disease.
So let me ask do you have amalgam fillings? Any fellow sufferers
you know of with amalgam fillings or exposure to lead/mercury?

[And if dkw reads this I'd like your input - no flames though - I
know you are the expert on this. While you are at it, how about telling
us why we can't get cares inoculations for our kids?]

You're on the ball; looking stuff up for yourself. Lots of people
don't bother. On the aromatizaion and converting excess Testosterone
to Estrogen; part of the problem is of course the gynocomastia (I
remembered) but the biggy (or smalley as the case may be) is the total
loss of libibo for a guy. So, even with high T levels if your
estradiol levels are up there also, you are SOL. (I would have said
"screwed" but that would be far from the truth.
As for the MS and amalgams; I believe that does have an effect on a
persons immune system if the amount of amalgams exeeds a tolerance
level for that person. For me; In the late 80's I had a serious
number of amalgams put in place and a couple years later I was
diagnosed with MS. So; it could have been. I've spent years getting
rid of most of them and my health continues to improve. But then I
have other alternative resources also. I have little faith in the
medical system and mostly use them for keeping my insurance coming in.
If we continue to deviate from talking about weight we should probably
take this to email to avoid pissed of people.
I expect a vial of HCG this coming week and it will be enough for two
6 week cycles. I sincerely believe that it is a valid treatment for
    overweight people.
