Default Help with Weight Loss

I HATE the word diet. I've been on Weight Watchers and South Beach
and the Mayo Diet and they all work and have the capacity to make you
lose weight fast. Eventually, though, you start to crave the carbs,
the sweets and the next thing you know, you've fallen off the wagon
and it is dragging you down a chocolate street.

I need to find a better more perminent way to lose weight and keep it
off. I am chronicaling my adventure on my blog:
http://moshealthandfitness.blogspot.com/

I also do online surveys at home in my spare time. I've tried several
products and give my take on them and also highlight things I am
excited about trying.

I've had a personal training and it worked great but now I need to do
this on my own. I need to find a workout routine that I can do at home
everyday and something I WANT TO DO! I'm open to any suggestions!

Thanks!

p.s. has anyone tried the Fluidity Bar? It looks like fun and like
something I could do while watching TV. http://www.fluidity.com

Hi Momojojo,

I'm doing a survey about diets that fail, following on from my own
experiences. It seems that lots of people have had my experience - I do
really well with a diet, reach my target, start to enjoy life - then I
relax and gradually get back into the 'wrong' things, which makes me
put the weight back on again - and then I feel I've failed and I look
for yet another new diet.

Is that your experience? I'd love to know more about the diets you've
tried and which have let you down - it would be good to compare notes.

You can't think of it as a "diet" as if it were a temporary thing. It
has to be permanant, and not interfering with "enjoying life". If you
can't get your mind around the idea that it is a new permanant life
style, and that it is more enjoyable to live your new way than your old
way. I believe that until you can do that you will not succeed long term.

Default Re: Help with Weight Loss

what u are experiencing, most of us certainly have

i drink at least 1L grapefruit juice a day

its been working great for me, lost inches within a month, and
maintaining it.

eating balance of "good&bad" food.

often for dinner, i have 2 huge sausages, and grapefruit juice. and
nothing else. no white sugar , white flour, white rice.

when i have rice, i add more vegetables, and minus the sausages. of
course, with grapefruit juice also.

i only have a 10KG dumbell at home. i work out with it in front of a
mirror, while watching videos all night before bedtime.

go for natural food, stay away from most chemicals, preservatives,
colouring, trans-fat, sugar, etc.. etc...

ps: grapefruit juice is your friend

I forgot about the grapefruit juice! I used to drink it with every
meal, which is suppose to break down fat quicker, I think. Anyway, I
will add it back to my "Healthy Eating Habits".

Thanks
Mo!
