It's a real shame

that this nG has been hit with all that spam. I can't even bother myself to
try and killfile every single one of the spammer's email addresses. Makes me
hate USENET and cherish moderated forums.

details on how to block all this spam? Do you use Outlook Express?

If you're talking about the MI5 stuff, I just set a filter to ignore
anything crossposted to 3 or more groups, and it solved the problem
completely.

OE never used to have a killfile; I don't know if things have changed
but even if they have I would still recommend getting a dedicated
newsreader like Forte's Agent.

OE has "rules" as well as a block sender function.

Or, Thunderbird has similar function and is free as well.
