Jo Morley, founder of Big People UK has been a front runner in the
campaign for size acceptance. The site has been running for ten years
and Biggie's is throwing a huge party in celebration of the difference
her work has made - so come down and be part of it. For those who
missed their chance at the end of July, we will be having karaoke
again for the party, all adding to the fun. We're also having a bumper
raffle, full of goodies, so even more chances to win a great prize.

CHANNEL FIVE - MY BODY HELL - Wednesday 17 October 2007, 8pm

In September we had a crew at Biggie's doing some filming for the
above programme, so tune in to check out the results. I have watched
the series so far which has tackled different topics all relating to
body image and to date they have been entertaining and informative, so
hopefully they will have done the whole 'big issue' justice.

BIGGIE'S BIRMINGHAM
Due to difficulties finding a suitable venue we have called a halt to
events in Birmingham for the time being, however, we do hope to be
back in the Midlands early next year. Thank you to all the Brum crew
who have been loyal supporters from the very start, and let's look
forward to a bigger and better Biggie's in 2008.

Tickets are always available to buy online, each month we put up 50
£10 SCOOP tickets and when they run out you can still buy your £12
tickets online. Prices on the door are £12 before 11pm and £15
thereafter. Show your LIL keyring or LIL business card at the door and
you pay £12 whatever time you arrive.

Savercards are still on offer at the bargain price of £50 which allows
6 entries which you can use as and when you like - either come with
five friends or come on your own six times, it's up to you - for each
entry your card is punched so you can just use it until your six
tickets are used up.
