another attention whore. She just LOVED her little soundbite-time where
she gets to explain her poor plight in well rehearsed meaningless
cliches.

What is with those lips???

It looks like she's hiding her mother's missing husband in there!

By her comments and those enhanced lips and skeletal appearance, this
young lady displays significant issues with her body image - leave her
alone. Olivia says that her daughter is getting medical support and I
wish her the best in her recovery.

Man, but Olivia is having a hard life. First her husband disappears at
sea, and for a few weeks, people think she murdered him. Now her
daughter is anorexic. I'd only wish that much unhappiness onto an
enemy, but I always kind of liked her.

Yeah well said, for summarising what the entire topic of the thread was
about, 'anorexia'

I don't know how recent this picture is but both daughter and mother
look very healthy

http://www.onlyolivia.com/news/06/laday/laday1.jpg

IMHO I think Olivia is the more attractive of the two, she is aging
very well.

No, for pointing out how disgusting it is to call someone who is clearly
suffering from image issues "ugly." It's awful to call anyone that, but to
call a struggling, unhappy, anorexic person ugly -- what the fuck is wrong
with people? Anyway, you knew that. You just wanted to make your
obnoxious little post. I agree with what Meerkat said and, well, you know
what I think of you.

So you now claim that beauty is somehow a fixed and umovable point that
can't be changed? So if say a supermodel was horribly burned, she's
still be beautiful would she?

What the fuck if wring with you? Just cause some stupid attention whore
gets the 'illness' they're suddenly immune from commentary.

Off you go back to nowehere land.

Do you have any reading comp abilities at all? Saying, "It is wrong to
call a person ugly" says NOTHING about beauty being a "fixed and unmovable
point." It just says that it is wrong to tell someone with image issues
that she is ugly. It says nothing about what beauty is.

I said it's wrong to tell someone he or she is ugly, ESPECIALLY when that
person clearly has image issues. What that has to do with the definition of
beauty I don't know.

it does in the context of your fucking post, cretin. Explain why it's
wrong to comment on someones beauty in a public forum, when the person
has been on TV and is ugly due to her self imposed 'illness'

And while you're at it, get this through your thick head: She won't be
reading this thread, and your opinion is so utterly worthless, the only
reason I'm replying is to see you try and crawl your way out of the hole
you're in.

You're ESPECIALLY stupid. You don't know how ugly relates to the
definition of beauty? Please stop posting, you don't even know what
you're saying.

Who gives a shit if the person has 'image issues' she's now ugly, try
and comprehend that fact.

Hilarious that this comes from someone who just posted a point by point
reply supporting my argument.

No, it doesn't. I said it was wrong to tell vulnerable people they are
ugly. I said NOTHING about the definition of beauty, but you claimed I did.
You wrote <<So you now claim that beauty is somehow a fixed and umovable
point

I just think it's wrong to kick people when they are down.

I can address that. However, you have to understand that you did NOT ask me
about that before and you claimed I said something I never did. So, you may
talk about a person's beauty in a public forum all you like, but I think it
is unnecessary and cruel to call another person ugly, especially when that
person clearly believes he or she is. You may not have a problem with that.
I do. I think it's heartless and wrong.

What fact? That she's ugly? That's your opinion, dear. My opinion is that
you are wrong to say so in your crude, heartless, abusive manner.

No, I didn't. You may imagine I did all you like. It won't make it true.

You're ugly, aren't you, Nimue? I'm sorry. It's just that other human
beings think ugly is, well... ugly. You've taken a lot of pain
because of it, but that's not the fault of the human race. We love
beauty and find ugly repulsive. The fact that you're one of God's
unlovely creatures is fate.

You know, when I tell my students not to use anti-gay slurs, they ALWAYS
assume I am gay. Always. Never mind that I wear a wedding ring and my
husband has been to my school a couple of times. Some people just can't
understand why people would find a type of abuse that really doesn't affect
them to be wrong anyway. They are the kind of people who stand by and do
nothing when they see something wrong because they feel if it doesn't affect
them, if doesn't matter. I see you are one of those kinds of people. This
ignorance may be all right in a teenager, who is growing and learning. It's
pathetic and shameful in an adult like you. Am I ugly? I don't think so.
Plenty of others don't, either. Some may. Who knows? It doesn't matter.
The point is that you shouldn't abuse people's looks (or sexual preference,
etc.). It's just wrong to be an abusive jerk.

So gay people never wear wedding rings nor have spouses of the opposite
sex? Silly you. Sounds like the kids are more worldly than their teEcher.

Well, they think you're gay because you're ugly. But never mind
that... I'm for the kids rushing you and clubbing you to death with
their chairs.

When the Muslims arrive they are going to outlaw ugliness. They are
going to behead all the ugly people.

You would not believe the physical beauty that exists under those
tents. Muslim women are exquisite.
