Is overeating (being overweight) an eating disorder?

Is the Pope Catholic?

I would think any obsessive compulsive behavior related to eating is a
disorder. Eating is a natural activity for animals, but one that with
social and emotional connotations for humans.

BTW: Two days of dieting, up a half a pound. Been through this one
thousand times.
