Speaking of frightening, here's the pictorial tale of the Incredible
Shrinking Historian:

I need a recent front and side photo, but the others seem to tell the
story.....

That's because I am!

Neil Version 2.0 (beta testing): All the features you loved in the
original version, but now it runs faster, takes less space, has
additional functions, is less prone to system error and crashing, and
runs on less power!

Fantastic progress, Neil. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I know I'm
always inspired when I see the before and after photos. I still keep mine
in my office as they remind me to keep away from the vending machines

My photo gallery has now been updated with recent front and side shots.
Fans of sweaty chess historians and 1970s relics will enjoy the
additions.

We'll try. It's been a bad weekend, though. Perhaps I won't reach 270
by year's end. Sigh.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Neil. Besides, the end of the year is a
pretty arbitrary goal, and only matters if there isn't a next year. I'm
trying to be a bit kinder to myself at this busy time of year--not something
that comes easily to me.
