Word has it that CBS TV directors told their camera crews NOT to show
Serena Williams from the rear so as not to block the view of the
opposing court and the opponent.
And it seems viewers have complained about having to look at Serena's
monstrous thighs and sweat-drenched "dress" and tights covering her
Mount Buttsmore! Especially at meal-time.
IF YOU'VE BEEN WATCHING THE U.S. OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT on TV, you've
seen many times a commercial for SERENA WILLIAMS's --eh -- "fashion
line."
But the ad features a body double for the water buffalo-like Serena.
The "body," which the sponsor obviously wants the viewer to believe
is
Serena's, is actually another, more svelte black woman's body --
wearing fashions from Serena's line, but with the head not framed in
the shots. It's cut off.
I view this as deceptive advertising and an affront to the
intelligence of U.S. Open viewers and all tennis fans.
If the water buffalo can't lose the 40 or so pounds needed to do an
honest commercial herself, the ad should bear a disclaimer stating
that the person modeling the outfits is not Serena Williams.
Her one-sided loss to Justine Hennin was predictable, given the WB's
lack-luster performances leading up to the Sept. 4 match with the
world's number one.
If Serena can't give up the donuts to get her weight down and her
endurance up, she should quit tennis and become, maybe, Oprah's
personal trainer.
Can't you see these two frauds fighting over who gets the 10th and
last cheeseburger?
