Default Too low cal diet & a good book

On strong advice from posters, I went off my too low cal diet four days
ago. Surprisingly, weight has only gone up a pound and I will continue
higher intake for another week then re-evaluate. It is a little
difficult to eat larger portions and my sodium is not as low as I prefer
– slightly higher blood pressure. So the only change I am making is to
watch sodium intake more carefully.

Reading a recent book by cardiologist Richard Fleming called ‘Stop
Inflammation Now’. Its written a bit too much in the Napoleon Hill
style, but what he writes makes a lot of sense. Some parts really click
with his diet recommendations and he gives solid explanations for his
reasoning. While the book is aimed at heart disease, it is applicable to
dieters just as much. Worth a read – its new to my library but published
originally in 2004.
