Default Variety of foods -- how many people try to restict the variety of foods they're faced with?

This seems to be a pretty neat little study discussing variety of
foods, portion size, etc., on overeating. Sure makes sense to me! The
greater the variety of foods, the greater the likelihood to overeat.
True for animals (short-term animal studies show about 25% increase in
calories) and also in a group of younger men (not true for a group of
older men who may have been consciously limiting their food intake).

Also snacking, restaurant eating, liquid calories are discussed.

Yours,

Caleb

I try to not give myself too many choices, and I try not to have ANY
triggers in the house. I make a "dinner list" every week now,and don't
deviate from it. Somewhat borign, but it keeps me focused and honest.

I have to read this, as part of my weight loss plan right now is liquid
meals and "meal replacment" bars.

I've never heard of making a list of "dinner foods" for the week and
sticking to it. I think that's a pretty good idea. My far better half
used to have a list of regular foods she'd make for Monday, Tuesday,
etc. Seemed to solve the problem of deciding what to eat and it worked
pretty darned well!

Good for you!

Yours,

Caleb
