Default Volumetrics

According to the June issue of a leading consumer magazine the best
diet is Volumetrics by Barbara Rolls. I am getting a copy tomorrow
from Amazon. It was very highly rated on the Amazon site. If anyone is
interested; I will give further information on the book. I think
Barbara Rolls is the head of the nutrition department at Pennsylvania
Universaty.

Never trust a nutritionist named Rolls. She should change her name to
Small or Little. dkw

If this is the one I think it is, let me take a moment to throw water on
your fire. There was a woman that did a very very short study (like 3 days)
and then wrote a book. The body needs a few weeks to adjust to the caloric
density of foods. Thus, if you do a one day study, you can fool the body
into satisfaction with a large volume of food with a low caloric density.
Give it 3 weeks, and appetite will go up to match the low caloric density.

The book you are buying might be by someone else.

Best of luck,
Cubit

Not familiar with it, however, the *best* diet is the one you can
happily follow for life, and gets you the results you want.

Results without being able to follow the plan for life won't last...

Anyway, feel free to report on the book!
