Default Wife and Husband Weight Loss Story

I stumbled on this while searching the newsgroups for information on
bikes for fat people.

http://speedleopard.blogspot.com/200...-pictures.html

The "Preston" mention is Preston Crawford, a regular on the bike
groups. He lost 170 pounds. His wife's accomplishments are even more
inspiring, since she was in denial even after her husband lost a lot of
weight.

I've seen Preston posting in the biking newsgroups for several years
and have always been impressed by he and his wife's stories. It just
shows that starting an exercise program can turn into a passion for it

I can remember a few years back when I thought a 10 mile bike ride was
a loooooong distance<g>

It reminds me of the old joke: I lost 150 pounds of unwanted weight.
What did you do, go on a strict diet. No, I divorced my wife.

The website does show the importance of having both people thinking
along the same lines. It becomes very difficult when people around you
are telling you it is OK to eat something not on your diet or worse yet
when they prepare food that is not on your diet and expect you to eat
it or their feelings are hurt. dkw

No :-). But seriously, I don't always bother to go follow links
people post, and I was glad I looked at this one.
