What style of Yoga do you do?

And, that toting junk is hard work. Even just carrying my boxes of
magazines up the stairs is rough. I think I'm in pretty good shape, but
I was a little sore from just doing that for 15 minutes.

Well, depending on the instructor, they refer to it as vinyasa yoga,
power yoga, or fitness yoga. For me it's a moderate cardio workout,
with some strength work and some stretching and balance. I'm mostly
there for the stretching and balance, as I get cardiac work from
running and hip-hop, and strength from lifting. Many people in the
classes use this as their only fitness activity. I like it and
definitely find my flexibiity has improved. (It was pretty bad to
start with -- maybe approaching normal now.)

Yeah, it is. Tuesday we (me and the naturalist -- a pretty strong guy
but even older than me :-) ) moved a couple of refrigerators and
window air conditioners, along with a whole lot of other smaller
stuff. We weren't really working for 4 hours straight, as we spent
about half an hour in the truck driving to and from the dump. But it
was plenty of work! I felt it the next day. I didn't feel bad about
not running on Tuesday in addition to this work.

That sounds what I would like. After I get back from my trip to Norway
in April, I want to take a Yoga class, maybe just once a week. I need
more flexibility, as I get enough cardio and strength, but I have the
flexibility of a turtle.

We have lots of Yoga centers here, so I'll look more into it in a
couple of months.
