Default 50 tomorrow!

I'm thinking I should feel anxious and depressed about the big 5-0 but
actually reaching this milestone feels rather liberating.

Anyway, this is my second period in 5 months (had one in February but before
that is was September). I'm getting some strange spasmodic "shooting pains"
in the rectal area this time as well as last month. What's up with that?
Anyone experience anything familiar?

Happy (almost) birthday! I joined the Red Hat Society when I turned 50,
so I was looking forward to it. :-)

Hemorrhoids? Those often show up with my periods.

Wonderful to hear! Now, if I had waited 52 minutes before posting, I
could honestly say "happy birthday" and the date would be right.

But I need my beauty sleep, even on days off. ;-)

Happy birthday!

Actually, yes, once. Came and went. Like most of my peri symptoms.

---------------
The best thing about turning 50 is being able to say, whenever the need
arises, "I've been on this earth for HALF A CENTURY, and I don't have to
[fill in the blank] if I don't want to!"

Happy birthday and many more.

on tonight.

I used to get something like this near the beginning of my
periods, along with cramps, but that started way before peri.

Belated happy 50th birthday to you! Hope it was a good one!

When it comes to the strange spasmodic in the rectal area - sorry, can't
help you but, could it have been as a result of something you ate?
