I think she deserves some revenge for her insolence. I made a simple
request for information from netizens. I did nothing to provoke her,
I warned her before I outed her, yet she:


1. told me what to do
2. was totally unhelpful
3. was insulting and rude


This type of behavior is not to be tolerated on the net.

Those three are definitely "not to be tolerated"

after a little digging, yetnet appears to be posting from a verizon server
via googlegroups.....

Is it really over hair curlers? Too funny. At least our flushing
thread, however silly it was, never devolved into animosity. Ooh, now I
have a mental picture of all of us bopping each other over the head for

It's small wonder that so many people killfile all GoogleGroups posters

The best thing to do to her is ignore her.

Look up the word "killfile" for some hints about this.

usenet spam dump anyway) to sign me up for dating websites and religious
mailing lists. What a tool.

Now this is really weird - the link posted above is incomplete,
clicking on it takes you nowhere - so no one else can judge for
themselves whether or not dejablues was insolent.

Even stranger, the offending thread was posted on alt.mothers,
but this cross-posted message wasn't sent there - it was sent to
a whole bunch of other places, but not there. Inquiring minds
can't help but speculate as to the reason.

I dunno, yetnet, I think you'd best just get over it and learn to
ignore posts from people you don't like. Hard to do if you use
google groups as your newsreader, but it can be done. I've found
that tattling to the Net Police just doesn't do much good...
maybe they're underpaid?
