One watery pink spot on your knickers?

(trying to work out whether I have to reset the countdown clock)

Oh, bummer!

How long has the countdown clock been running? How long ago was
the spot?

If it's been more than a year since your last period, and
especially if you have more spots, see your gyn. It's most
likely nothing to worry about, but that was my first symptom of
endometrial cancer. (I'm not trying to be an alarmist - I
ignored the barely pink spots for a couple of months, until they
started coming nearly daily, before I made an appointment with
my gyn.)

Only about 4 months. The spot was this afternoon- and it was just a
spot. not even worth a panty liner really - but it was blood.

Then it counts. Sorry. (I think. Don't you feel a tad young for
menopause? You're not 50 yet, right?)

"average" for once.
