| | | OT: Belly dancing I went to my first Belly dancing class yesterday.
<Ok, you can stop rolling around on the floor laughing now and get
back on your seats, the concept isn't *that* funny.>
I learnt how to walk with a wiggle (and without falling over).
I learnt how to do a bodywave (no comment other than, Ouch!).
I learnt how to do a figure 8 with my hips (very useful).
I learnt how to shimmy (fun).
I learnt my body isn't as young and supple as it once was. ;-)

Me too, but didn't want to look like a Dodo. I hear it's good excercise.

How fun! I took a belly dancing class about 30 years ago - all I
can say is that I have a lot more to shimmy with now than I did then!
Enjoy!

My body wishes I'd taken it up 30 years ago. :-)
I don't have more to shimmy with, but what I do have is more mobile
now. ;-)

I didn't keep it up - just took the 10 week class. It was fun,
but I'm too shy and uncoordinated to feel comfortable doing it,
even in private!

I'm not laughing....I am envious! Gesh, motorcycle trips, belly
dancing, hiking through Europe....I feel...oh, I don't know...makes me
want to do something too. I am impressed with all this energy and
motivation! Wow.
