Default OT: But still funny and women related

Who thinks up these things? Love the opening phrase "a perfect
stocking stuffer..."

"A perfect stocking stuffer for active women, GoGirl allows the simple
convenience of taking bathroom breaks standing up in situations where
restrooms are unfit or nonexistent."

I preferred the idea of the folding disposable cardboard ones another
company was offering - fold flat to keep in your backpack (or car
glove compartment), fold out, use and dispose of. It's not like you'd
be doing *that* every day.

I just love how they claim European women have been using such devices
for years. I've never encountered that and I do live in Europe. I wish
Americans would stop referring to the continent of Europe as if it's a
nation - you know, like Africa. ;-)

That said, I wonder what reaction one would get if a GoGirl were found
in the Christmas stocking!

I think some American advertisers like to hold "European" women
up as models of sophistication.

I wish people would stop referring to Americans as if were all
alike and all share the same opinions. Or ought to. :-/

ROFL! I guess it would depend on who gave it to me...

But there are still plenty of times when that seat is just too
cruddy/wet/stained/hairy to use. As someone who has difficulty squatting
for any length of time, this looks useful to me. Although I probably
wouldn't be able to use it. Psychologically, I mean.

LOL! If only they knew!

Unfortunately, what gets exported from the US in the news, besides
foreign policy, is the weird or violent stuff. It's getting hard to find
insightful, balanced reporting no matter where you live.

Dawned on me later, when I could've used it: a year ago, when I had sciatica
& sitting on the seat the least bit "wrong" (a quarter inch off what was
comfortable)was extremely painful, plus lowering & rising back up were a
PITA (well, hip & leg).

I know exactly what you mean - there's just that one place where the seat
hits the nerve dead on. It makes my whole leg twitch.

On of these days I'll get a padded seat and not have to worry about it.
