I had cataracts removed in 2007, wasn't bad at all...took more time for the
prep, than the actual surgery. They were hoping for 20/20 but Dr. said my
eyeballs look like footballs and the lens couldn't reach..but I settled for
20/25. Before surgery I was -7.50...6 weeks after the surgery it was like
2.25..the other eye was 1.50 I think...Great improvement.
I wish my veins were as nice as yours..there is only one vein on my arm that
gives blood without rolling or collapsing

When I was in the hospital for 5
days the IV nurse had to come in to put in a new IV daily because of Blown
Veins...Had a pretty bruised arm by the time I left

Good Luck on your surgery.
I didn't have to do a ECG. The only anthesia they gave me was Sodium
Penasol...just long enough to put me out to freeze the muscles around the
eye...I was awake for the surgery. I did have a blood test. During Pro Op
and after surgery they checked my blood sugar..because of me being
diabetic.....they gave me a glass of juice and pnut butter cracker after
surgery.
