One of the combination deals - the cream-ish yellow one - makes the model
look like the abominable snowman.

And some of the willywarmers are part wool. Oh, so comfy.

You could've offered to make it in a soft acrylic or cotton yarn - no wool
involved. ;-P

OTOH, if he still vehemently objected, well... just might be understandable.

I find wool to be itchy. If I had a willy to warm, I'd go for a nice
soft acrylic.

Yeah, I was being extremely facetious with the "Oh, so comfy" bit.;-) I
can't stand even a 2% wool content if a garment is next to my skin. Drives
me straight up the wall.
