My friend Megg claims to have no memory at all - in fact she can work
beside people for years, talk to them every day and never remember
their names - but if you have a cat, she'll remember the cat's name,
birthday and details. She can pull names of obscure stars with
specific size/colour/distance from Sol, etc, right out of thin air
and, of course, random Star Trek plots.
But if you ever meet her she'll introduce herself with the line "don't
bother telling me your name - I won't remember it"
