Okay, I guess the bald guy is Sean Connery--unless it's Chris?--but who are
all the other glamorous folks?

Kiera Knightly - you might have heard of her in "Pirates of the
Caribbean" where she played opposite Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
This time she's starring in "The Edge of Love". She's the young lady
with the flowing dark hair and the rather determined chin.

Sienna Miller - actress, not so famous, used to be married to Jude Law
- she's co-starring in the same movie.

Rather striking older blonde lady is Joely Richardson. I know she's
been in "Nip, Tuck" recently, but I first saw her in "Lady Chatterley"
with Sean Bean. She's one of the judges for the FilmFest awards this
year.

Sean Connery, of course, and wife. This cinema is actually just a few
hundred yards from where he was born.

Sean Connery was the only I could ID, too. Saw both Pirates of the
Caribbean films, yet didn't recognize Kiera Knightly. This sort of thing
definitely not a forte of mine. ;-)

Joely Richardson starred a number of years back in "Lies My Mother
Told Me" for Lifetime TV network in the US. Isn't she the daughter of
Tony Richardson and Vanessa Redgrave?

Perhaps because there were three Pirates movies? :-)

I've had a thing for Johnny Depp since Chocolate. YD (19) gained the same
appreciation after the Pirates movies -- even though he is (to her) old.
:-) Odd to share that with my child...

Then I saw the first two, & ignored the third one. (As I worote that post,
the back of my brain said, "Was there a third one?" Maybe it got
not-sio-hot reviews & I decided to skip it.) But believe me, I am *not*
good when it comes to movie stars - or celebs in general.

Johnny Depp definitely 'made' the "Pirates of the C..." movies - the campy
OTT acting was hysterical. Without him, I don't think they would've been
worth watching.

First one = good
second one = not so good (probably why you skipped 3)
third one = good.
