Thank you! :-) The same to you.
After Christmas dinner my niece (she's 20) & I spent a good two hours
sorting through my sister's clothes... we each chose a few things which we
liked, & aside from the smallish discard pile, the rest will be brought to a
2nd-hand consignment shop; the proceeds will be donated to their local SPCA.
There actually was a funny aspect to it - there was an item which we could
*not* figure out. A black garment which neither one of us had ever seen her
wear, & which neither one of us could figure out what on earth it
even -was-. Had a very small 'bib', had very wide culotte type legs that
came to a capri sort of length, long apron-y sort of straps... we gave up,
set it aside, & got to work on the rest of the clothes. I later showed the
mystery garment to my BIL. Turned out it was *his* - that it was some sort
of formal Japanese menswear! (And, no, he's not Japanese, although I know he
is - or used to be long ago, at any rate - interested in Japan, its
culture..) I relayed the info to my niece. "Why does Dad have Japanese
formal wear?!?" "Search me; I didn't ask!" ;-)
