Default Re: Period after Menopause

I haven't had a period for around five years...and I had 3 or 4 days of
bleeding in October and then again 50 days later in Nov. I just had a
Uterine Biopsy a few months ago and everything came back ok...I had the
biopsy not because of bleeding but because my Uterine Wall showed to be
pretty thick when I had a vaginal ultra sound to check on a cyst on my
ovary...which in not there anymore..it's just one thing after another I
told this to my PC when I went in for a diabetic follow up and refill
appointment...she said I had my Woman's Yearly exam coming up in March and
we would check everything out then...she did say for me to write down the
dates if I had anymore bleeding. I hope she doesn't have me go through
another Uterine Biopsy...it was very painful for me...I think she hit a
nerve that went to my ovary because it felt like someone was twisting and
stabbing my ovary. When I had the Biopsy she said they would be doing Pelvic
Ultra Sounds every six months to keep an eye on the Uterus for
changes...Uterine cancer can take up to 10 years to develop. I would tell
your friend to see her Dr. It may not be anything but it doesn't hurt to
make sure.
