Yes, it's just absorbed through normal skin directly into the
bloodstream, avoiding the first pass via digestion and the liver.
This way, you can use a much lower dose for the same benefits and avoid
the complications that ensue from the rise in cortisol binding globulin
caused by oral estrogens.
